Play ideas for bored toddler??

Ja

My 13 month old is so bored and I’m struggling to know what to give him to do when I’m not playing with him. I have to be able to shower, cook, get things done, go to doctors appts, etc, and I’ve totally not prioritized anything about myself for the whole first year of his life. Anyhow what can I give him for imaginative play? He has outgrown all his toys right now so I need new things.

he runs everywhere so no more walker. He is over boring things like stacking cups/rings, ball or car runs, music instruments, and fidgety toys. I was pretending to feed a teddy bear with play food yesterday and that got him excited… so does anyone have ideas for toys to spark imaginative play for toddlers that could encourage independent play? Right now I just have a bored toddler shouting “mama” all day from his playpen because his toys got old and I need to figure something out, bc I can’t be putting on a screen with me Rachel everytime I need to do something, and even playing WITH him, his current toys are too baby-ish for him now. Thank you.

Oh and One thing he does like is books but I can only have them supervised with me bc he’s teething molars and literally chews chunks off every book after 1 minute of holding it 🫠
