Boyfriend is mad at me

My boyfriend has gotten pretty lazy in the last week. I'm not sure why. He hasn't cleaned the apartment. He hasn't been getting up to shower or brush his teeth. He just lays in bed all day scrolling through Instagram and I mean all day. He doesn't even get up to eat. He just gets up at night to binge eat everything in our fridge. This has been going on for a week. He was laying on the couch and asked me to lay with him. I told him "No because I'm not gonna sit on my ass and be lazy." He got upset and went to our room. I'm feeling like I was a little harsh. This has only been going on for a week so maybe I shouldn't have been so mean. I just don't understand why he's all of sudden decided to just lump around.
