Do you tell your partner every single thing you do?

Hey guys! I’m going through something right now where my partner expects me to tell him every single thing I do throughout the day. Example being I can’t just say “I’m going to see my friend Mary” I have to tell him exactly where we are going, what we are doing and who will be there. If there is another man there then he gets upset and we end up fighting. If I don’t tell him exactly who and when I was with at all times we fight and he accuses me of hiding things and lying. I have never experienced this in my past relationships. Is this normal?

This is controlling behaviour which can lead to abuse later on. You should just be able to say I'm going to see my friend withought a whole list of who will be there and exactly what you'll do. That is not hiding something. He also can't be mad that a man will be around. This could turn into him blaming you for a man even looking your way as if you're doing something to provoke it. Run while you can. It only gets worse.

So, there’s a difference between telling your partner so they don’t worry and telling your partner because they are controlling.
The way you telling him that way is him being controlling and it’s toxic.
My boyfriend and I live together so when I go out with friends usually last minute I’ll just text him” hey out with so and so” that’s it. He doesn’t ask me to. I do it because well I’m used to doing  it for my parents lol so now I do it to him.
But for someone to ask who all is there, what you are doin in a controlling way is toxic

He's very controlling! I tell my husband, but it's more along the lines of "I'll be here with xyz and should be home around this time" for safety reasons and because I'm very communicative. My husband does the same. It's a respect thing and a safety thing with us. If one of us is 30 minutes to an hour late coming home and won't answer the phone then we know something was wrong and should call the police to look in a certian area for an accident. Yesterday I went to a specific store to shop for our kids. I went with my best friend and I let my husband know I was also going to another store. Then again when I was on my way home. Had there been an accident or some sort of attack while at the store then my husband would have known something was wrong. He doesn't force me to tell him and I don't have to, but I choose to. He doesn't care who I'm with and has NEVER gotten jealous our entire 11 years over anything or anyone.

I'm actually dealing with this same situation sis so don't feel bad, Have you gave him a reason to act or be like this way?  Me and my husband has been married 15yrs when he was locked up 5years ago I had a relationship with someone else so I did cheat but I'm dealing with ALOT of assumings and accusings which is so not fair bcuz now I'm loyal and faithful actually love him way more and he's not the same the love that was once there is no longer and I can't gain it back for nothing 💔
