Help? Need advice on excessive bleeding 3 months pp

I’m 3 months postpartum and also on my third month of birth control. It started off where I would spot between periods. Then I would get my period, not have it for 2 weeks, and then I get a full period again. Now I’ll bleed for 8-9 days, then go 1 week without one, and then get my period again. It seems like it’s just getting worse. Is this from the birth control? Or should I be concerned? I lost my health insurance for the moment so I’m trying not to just rush to the Dr but I will if I need to.
