What’s your top bottles you recommend for newborns?

Nipple shape matters. The correct shape helps them use muscles correctly and can effect talking and eating. Ask a lactation consultant. Even if you don't breastfeed they know which bottles are good for baby.  These are awesome. They aren't crazy expensive. They don't have a million pieces like Dr. Brown's. I did breastfeed and my son loved them. Incorrect nipple shape and mess up their latch and that messes up everything else.

MAM bottles were the only ones my baby took to. I also find them the easiest to clean and steralise personally.

For me it is Tommie tippie! Mam bottles made him have crazy wind and spit up a lot. Advent he wouldn’t take to it at all.

My advice is to only get a couple bottles of a certain brand until you know that baby will take it. We were gifted a large set of Phillips Avent bottles with our first, which worked great with him. Our second refused essentially all bottles and had to start Feeding Therapy, where he ultimately took the MAM bottles. Our third seems to be having difficulty with the Avent as well, so we are probably looking at sticking with the MAM again.

Lansinoh bottles. Far fewer parts and encourages a wide latch just like breastfeeding. It was the only bottle my kids with tongue and lip ties could use.
