Can an ingrown hair end up looking like this?

I’ve had this for over a month now. It popped, got smaller and now it is back. It’s also in a really inconvenient spot so I’m guessing that that’s why it keeps getting bigger. Has anyone had something like this before

Yes . Don’t pick it or try to pop it. Try warm compresses a few times a day .

Yeah. Hot compress, as hot as you can stand, a couple times a day should allow it to drain. If it doesn't your doctor can drain it.

Have you been picking at it? If not that maybe something other than ingrown hair.  Ouch Ouchy

If it's an ingrown hair, soak it with Epsom salt and warm water compress, daily. When it starts to go down, make sure you keep doing  a warm compress on it and exfoliate the area regularly.
