Has this happened to anyone else?

So probably about a week or so ago my nipple cracked for the first time (im an exclusive pumper). Does this look normal for a week later? Its still very painful when i pump to thr point where i only pump like 2-3 times a day now. Should I be concerned about this??

use nipple cream, it looks normal, you may lose your supply by only pumping 2-3 times a day though

Ouch! Are.you.using.the right flange size? I would maybe go up a size and see if it helps with the pain and starts to get.better. i would put some breastmilk on them. When i had.my crack like that i used.my silver bells put breastmilk on them and it was completely healed in a few.days. i didnt stop nursing from that side either i just fought myself through the pain. But to me it looks like your nipple is rubbing on the side.of your flange and you need a size bigger like 28mm thats the.size i use when pumping.

I would like to kinda edit this and say i am using 19mm because thats what my LC sized me at. I have been EP for almost 11 months now and this has never happened the entire time until a week ago. I have uses nipple cream every day and every time after i pump. I know you are supposes to pump every 2-3.hours and i normally do, the pain has just been so bad that i have almost thrown up from it. Thank you all for reassuring me that this is normal! It helps a lot

Yup! Happened to me with both my children. I never really pumped. I EBF and the first 6 weeks or so were extremely painful. I soaked my tits every night in an epsom salt bath and lubed them up several times a day with lanolin. It eventually stopped, but yeah, that part is hard

What would concern me the most is you only pumping 2-3 times a day. You need to be pumping every 2-3 hours. 
Get the right size flange.
