Kids caught on camera trick-or-treating

An

So now that halloween is over, I'm starting to see some videos posted from door cameras. I've seen a couple of videos posted of just cute kids in costumes doing cute things. But I've also seen several that were from where people left out a whole bowl of candy and kids dumped all the candy into their bag.

The comments on these neighborhood posts have been pretty mixed - about whether it's okay to post videos of kids that come to your door, about whether it's okay to show the faces of kids with the purpose to shame them, whether it's okay to for kids to take the entire bowl of candy, and whether it's lazy to not hand out the candy personally (one video the person was home and ran out to confront the kid who took all the candy).

I'm not sure where I stand, but I think in general I personally would choose not to publicly post anyone else's child without permission. Also, since it bothers me that people will take all the candy if a bowl is left out, I choose not to leave candy out (but usually do hand out candy).
