I just had my second ultrasound today and baby boy is doing great, I am very blessed. However this being the second ultrasound tech at a different facility, neither would let me hear the heartbeat. Yea I could see the heartbeat and I have my own Doppler (brings peace of mind and apparently the only way I'm "allowed" to hear my son's heartbeat). The first ultrasound tech said it was to early, I was 8 weeks and 4 days, and I know many people who hear it at 6 weeks. Today at 13 weeks 6 days the same thing, I asked, and nope you won't hear it. Is this the new normal for ultrasounds or am I just getting non personal ultrasound techs? Anyone going through the same thing specifically at ultrasounds.
