Ftm wondering how many words is normal for 14 months?

So I see wayyyy different numbers online anywhere from 5-75 depending on the country! How many words did yours have at 14-15 months or what is considered good speech development? My kid has 15 words now at nearly 14 months but they aren’t all super clear pronunciation and weirdly he doesn’t have any that start with “b” yet even though that’s a first one for many.

My second only said mama at 15 months, and I was getting worried. He was probably up to 10ish words around 18 months, and by 21 months he took off! You’d never know now at 2.5 lol. 15 words sounds completely normal and they’re not going to be totally clear at first. Sounds like kiddo is right on track!

15 words at 14 months sounds normal. The pronounciation wont be clear yet, that's expected, and theyll likely still be saying words like "wawa" for water. My oldest knew 5 words at 12months, and 25-50 words by 18 months so this sounds very normal to me.

My daughter had 0 verbal words at 14m. She did have about 5 words in asl. By 18m, we had arguably 1-2 words and about 15 words in asl. 
We had her evaluated for speech just before 24m just to be on top of things. She did not qualify for services and was deemed more than likely just stubborn. 🙃😂 if she didn’t get a word bomb in 3 month since the evaluation we could redo the evaluation. She turned 2 and she exploded! 
In just a month, she started saying mama and dada finally. She could say all her colors. And soooo many other words. 
Your child is definitely doing fine with 15 words! Most babies are still at 1-5 words at 14m.

My baby is just about 13 months and has about the same - however he loves b words - ball, balloon, book, bath!
