False positive for hep b

I just want to go on a little rant right now 😂 so on Oct 23rd at my first prenatal appointment I of course got the full run down of the NIPT, blood panels, genetic testing on my blood, full std panel etc etc and on the 30th I started reading through all the results posted to mychart of all the blood work and NIPT results, I see something that says “abnormal” so now my mind is racing I click to expand and it literally says “positive for hep b antigen” I literally had to close the app and reopen it because EXCUSE ME 😂 I’ve never in my life had a STD or STI and I’ve been with my same partner since we were 17 years old! I immediately started researching false positives because I was 100% sure I didn’t have hep b lo and behold it’s happens ALOT. Long story short I retested and NEGATIVE ! Even though I knew there was no way those couple of days of waiting to be retested and get the results were HELL, they need a better way of testing!
