Snoring boyfriend. How do I make it stop?!

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend became a snorer out of nowhere. I’d say it’s been going on for about a month and it’s gotten bad fast. He snores no matter what position he sleeps in. He’s not overweight and is generally very healthy. He is almost 36 years old. I bought him the breathe right strips for his nose and they’ve done absolutely nothing. I don’t want us to sleep apart from each other. (We went through a really rough patch right before I got pregnant and we were sleeping apart and I really don’t want us to go through that again.) I feel bad cause I can tell he genuinely feels bad when he wakes up and finds me sleeping with AirPods in my ears to silence the snoring. Anyone know what could cause this out of nowhere ?? I know sleep apnea is a thing but could this have really gone from 0 to 100 just like that? If anyone has any tips or tricks I’d greatly appreciate it. Thankssss.
