My son hates being swaddled. He is only 2 weeks old and I think it brings him more stress than comfort. He can’t stand for his arms to be strapped down (swaddles) but if I only swaddle his body and legs and leave his arms out then he has those newborn reflexes and his arms will just swing around causing him not to be able to sleep, or to knock out his paci or scratch up his face.

Idk what to do I’m at a loss. Swaddling him brings him stress and he uses all his little might to somehow wiggle his arms free of the swaddle and he will grunt and scream until his arms are free. But if I leave the arms free he can’t sleep bc of them swinging around. What do I do?! Desperate for any solution or advice.
