My baby is one month old. Today I was sitting in a rocking chair by a window and noticed that she stared at the sun for about five seconds before I turned her head. It was right before 4 PM so the sun was setting but it was still bright and I’m worried it could’ve damaged her eyes. Is anyone in ophthalmology? If so I would love to hear if you think this may have caused damage to her eyes. I’m really worried. I know babies’ eyes are less protected than adults’ eyes.
