What can I expect for my first time having sex?

Hi, so basically, I'm 18yrs old and my boyfriend is 22yrs old, so obviously he's already lost his virginity, however I have not.
We're planning to have sex for the first time next week, and as this is when I'll be losing my virginity, I'd really like to know what I should expect to happen for my first time.
I am all ears to everything you guys tell me because although I know I'm ready and I want this to happen, I'm really nervous haha 😅

Go into it with ZERO expectations. Don’t expect fireworks when all he can offer is hardly a sparkler. Probably won’t climax. Awkward sweaty situation. Just taking one for the team. I can remember being 20 in the back seat of my car, counting the hairs on my arm since I didn’t have a watch just waiting for it to be over. He was drenched in sweat. I wasn’t in love with him. if you’ve ever watched porn do not let that paint a picture for what you expect 😅 it may be awkward for you a little bit but sex is experimental just talk through it with your partner, whether during or after; if you liked something but hated something else just tell them. 
it may hurt a little bit, but more of just a soreness; if it hurts too much to bare try some form of lube (i personally just use spit 🤣)

Top comment had lots of good advice! Definitely go into it with zero expectations, sex gets better with practice (as silly as that sounds). But it sounds like you trust him, so just breathe and try not to take yourself or him too seriously. I promise that losing your virginity isn’t as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be, you’re still gonna be the same person after!

I second what all these fine folks said before me. Also, if he’s doing something you don’t like or if he needs to do something a little differently than her is, speak up or gently guide him to how you want it done. Communication is your best friend in a healthy relationship!
