Anyone successful pregnancy with clomid?

Question

My doctor tested to see was I ovulating - I did two out of three months - she’s now suggested trying clomid to see if that helps as last try for me. Has anyone tried this please?

I did 2 days of Clomid (instead of the suggested 5) and got pregnant with my first son on that cycle after trying unsuccessfully for over a year. With my daughter I tried Clomid for 2 cycles and Letrozole for 3 cycles and it didn’t work so we did IVF.

Thank you for your reply. Can I ask why did you stop after 2 days? Is there nasty side effects? Also and sorry if too intrusive but do you know we’re you ovulating or did you toss to bro ok ovulation? I seem to be ovulating but it’s not happening thanks
