TMI but really need help! Is this miscarriage tissue?

Question

I passed this and suspect it’s placenta. I have been reading up about blighted ovum and guess this is what’s happened with me. I have been waiting for period to start for almost 2.5 months so I can begin fertility treatment. I did pregnancy test and it was negative but I still passed this? Please help! Has anyone had something similar come out?

This does kind of look like an early MC I had, but the problem is, it is impossible to tell what tissue is what, unless you get it sent to labs. If you have had negative tests I wouldn’t assume that this is a miscarriage in any way, but I would definitely show this to your doctor as clots/tissue this size can be pretty concerning.

It is VERY unlikely to be a miscarriage if you did not test positive. It looks like your uterus lining that came out whole, rather than break up like it normally does during your period. The medical term for this is “disidual cast”.
