Update: 12/16/23

To anyone still following, here is the update. Pathology results came back and the embryo had Triploidy. Which is not compatible with life. Thank you everyone once again.

TW Update: 11/28/23 Went in today for follow up scan. And as expected, no heartbeat and looked like growth stopped maybe a few days after the original scan. Next plan is a D&E and then get back on track with the egg retrieval, which was the original plan we were going to start this month.

Today I went into my fertility clinic to get an ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy due to my hcg fluctuating this past week.

Well, long and behold, there was a heartbeat at 126 in my uterus and thankfully not in either fallopian tube. 😳

We’re all in shock as none of expected this and especially with my hcg being 581 progesterone at 12.1 on Friday.

Since none of the doctors had ever seen this, they’re giving this pregnancy a 1% chance of becoming viable.

By the way, this is a non assisted pregnancy, which is a miracle in its own. I’m also measuring right on time of 6w5d.

As of right now, we’re redrawing my labs to see where they are since Friday and taking one day at a time.

Of course I’ve googled possible cases and found a study similar to my case and 100% of the cases ended in fetal demise, so no high hopes for miracle but then again…………..
