Which oils or products are best recommended to avoid stretch marks ?

It’s my first pregnancy and I see all type of articles, some recommend to avoid certain essential oils. From your experience, could anyone recommend a product or oil I should buy to avoid stretch marks ?

Worked in plasric and aesthetic medicine for a long long time. There isnt a way to avoid them honestly, there are ways to help heal faster if you do get them and minimize the look/texture but they are mostly genetic. Best thing you can do is avoid any product that says it prevents them as that is a lie...nothing can. Find a good quality pure vitamin e oil or very good cocoa butter. It won't stop them if you get them but will help them fade faster if you do and keeps the texture smoother, plus prevents itching from them or stretching skin. Other thing if just a general health tip for skin in general.but especially during pregnancy...drink enough water daily to stay well hydrated and try to limit sugary processed stuff especially sodas and super sweet "juices" with no actual juice. Healthy skin is more elastic and heals faster. But if a cream/oil/massage tool/serum/etc says it will prevent or get rid of stretch marks its a lie as topical things don't even reach the layer in the skin that stretch marks occur. Its all a gimmick to charge more for basically a basic moisturizer. Stretch marks and cellulite are normal and common and I've seen them on most patients no matter size or health status. Ive seen professional models have both....they happen. But stretch marks do fade, just keep moisturized so the skin stays smooth.

There's no way to avoid stretchmarks. You're either going to have them or you won't but even if you get them, they do fade with time and become less noticeable. 
Keeping your skin moisturized might help a little, but nothing can totally prevent stretchmarks. They're just a part of what happens when your skin has to stretch so much to accommodate your rapidly growing uterus.

Stretch marks are genetic more than anything, I am Latina and predisposed to it naturally, I think I get them if I sneeze too hard!!
But there is absolutely amazing products to help heal them faster and better!! I have had 7 pregnancies, and had stretch marks every time yet you can only see them if you look for them!!

Had my baby June 2023 didn’t get not one stretch mark during or after pregnancy. Pregnant with baby 2 and still none. I believe it’s genetics because both my sisters same outcome.

I think it’s a waste of money but of course we are all different. I only got stretch marks with my first and ironically I was using products they were gone by 9 months post Partum. Didn’t get any with my subsequent pregnancies and I don’t use anything anymore.

Bio oil softens stretch marks and scars. I use it on my belly after every shower and never got stretch marks with any pregnancies.

I oiled and lotioned everyday and still ended up with wicked stretch marks. We don’t have much control over it unfortunately :( No harm in using oils or lotions though, it can help lots when your belly gets itchy and tight from growing so quickly.

Great news is, once you have the baby, you can diminish the appearance of loose skin and stretchmarks my microneedling like once a month. I’m on baby #4, my stretch marks are obvious when I’m pregnant and I get loose skin but by month 3-4 postpartum it is almost undetectable. 
Don’t stress about it though, no one actually cares. I met my husband at 2 months postpartum with my last. Literally loves me and never even noticed my stretchmarks until last week (28 weeks pregnant).

This is my second pregnancy in 2 years and I swear by this stuff.  I have no stretch marks and it really helps with the itching and discomfort as your tummy grows.
