Doctors have been trying to diagnose cholestasis for the last 3 weeks (I’m 35 weeks pregnant).

- symptoms are MASSIVE case of itching

- liver enzyme increasing / doubling every week

BUT

- bile acid totally normal

- liver ultrasound totally normal and clear

I’m being moved to high risk team to look into further.

Doctor still thinks it’s likely to be cholestasis but showing in an abnormal way. Has anybody else had this?

(Blood pressure & platelets & urine normal - NO sign of preeclampsia yet)
