Help am I having twins?!?!

A little back story I went to the hospital for cramping my lmp is 11/02 which would make me 3w5d they told me I’m pregnant.  they did the ultrasound and didn’t see anything I’ve been having a feeling like I’m having twins could it be twins? Twins run on both sides of my family

You won’t see anything conclusive until at the very minimum 5w5d (usually 6 weeks) on an ultrasound and even then, your beta HCG needs to be between 1500-2000+ to see anything that early. 
My betas were on the lower end of normal and I only transferred 1 embryo - well to my surprise, she split and I am carrying twins. There’s no real indication until you can see something on an u/s and for you being 3 weeks, it is just too early. You’re better off requesting getting your beta HCG drawn every 48 hrs to make sure it is doubling or more over the next week or so.
