I recently found out my kids other parent (we split custody) have one of their babies (with someone else) sleeping in the closet. They had two babies back to back after we split and have 6 of them plus 9 dogs (they bred) and my kids are crammed there. I know the courts don’t really care about home size (which is crazy) but I offered to have them overnights until they’re in a bigger place so they don’t have to sleep with their toddler and put the other one in the closet. Of course I was laughed at and told to mind my own business but it’s not sitting right with me. Is it ok to have a kid sleeping in the closet (with the door closed)? I’ll add that they didn’t clear it out or anything, all their clothes are hanging in there. I mean, times are hard but they’re also at Disneyland every Tuesday…so it can’t be that hard. My kids share a room but they’re getting older and ones a boy (7), ones a girl (9), so eventually they need their own rooms and they have their own rooms at my place…
