Brown Spotting!?

Question

I’m 16 weeks and woke up with some of this light brown spotting; should I be concerned?

Has anybody else experienced this

Any recent sex or pelvic exam? I would bring it to the doctors attention if not.

I was told by my doctor light spotting is normal and ti watch for heavy bleeding but I would ask your doctor just in case. Pretty sure it’s normal though!

My ob told me that there are so many reasons for spotting. Most recent was a lot of brown blood but she said it was most likely from my cervix rubbing while I was throwing up (I had the stomach bug) and that there’s pocket like things in the vagina that holds the blood lol it makes sense I guess. This is my 5th pregnancy and I only spotted with the pregnancy I miscarried so It’s a bit scary but they’ve reassured me that everything is fine

I had this yesterday and a bit today. Mine was more brown colored. I just got back from the dr, they checked baby and all was good! Dr said he thinks cervix was just irritated and he has no worries at all

With my second pregnancy I bled like this after sex every time, my cervix was so sensitive. Definitely just check with your doctor but don’t stress xoxo
