Flashing ovulation test results one week after ovulation - is this normal?!

I ovulated last week on 30th November. As this ovulation window is a particular short one (4 days from surge to peak whereas it usually lasts 7 days), I used the fertility test again 5 days later, and it showed the flashing smiley face (high fertility) again. It’s been showing the same thing for the past 5 days as I tested every morning.

Question: is this even normal? Am I ovulating AGAIN? My husband and I are so lost and confused.🥹🤯😳 Helpppppp!

So, ovulation predictors don’t actually track ovulation.
They track LH. Basically, LH is the signal telling your body “it’s time to ovulate”. But you can’t tell with those tests if your body actually listened and ovulated. To confirm ovulation you need to track your basal body temperature, or track progesterone (using something like a test from proov, an inito, or a blood test from your doctor). Otherwise, sometimes your body gives the “time to ovulate” signal, so you’d get a positive on your test, but then you don’t actually ovulate. So that’s what probably happened here. For some people this can happen often, so you can be completely missing your fertile window if you think you already ovulated but you actually didn’t yet.
