Should I have an HSG?

Hi all. I had an ectopic in October 2023 and it was treated with methotrexate. Resolved and now I’m waiting to TTC again in Feb next year. I see my dr next week. Should I push for HSG ? Did anyone get pregnant successfully after ectopic pregnancy(no tube removal)??

Hi im currently just over 7 weeks pregnant! had an ectopic in may 2023 also treated with methotrexate. Went for a scan at 6 weeks and everything is in the right place and doing great this time.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a HSG after my first ectopic  (I lost a tube) which just so happened to be the start of my fertile window. I was given the go ahead to start trying and fell pregnant straight away with my now 4 year old. I had another HSG as part of fertility investigations while TTC #2 and again was told no issues but this time it took a further 12 months to get pregnant which then ended as an ectopic pregnancy somehow on the tubeless side and then it took a further 11 months to fall pregnant again currently I’m 17weeks. The only thing I did the same just before falling pregnant successfully both times was take thrush treatment, I honestly had no symptoms but it was picked up on an exam so I took the course just before my fertile window and straight after my period.

Should I have an HSG?
