I know I'm not the parent but shouldn't my boyfriend be asking more questions?
My boyfriend has two and took temporary custody of one of his son's friends while his parents are out of the country. They have been sharing a room. His son is on antidepressants and medication for insomnia but the insomnia meds last too long and it's hard for him to get up during the day. My boyfriend was gonna take him to his doctor to change them but tonight I heard him talking to his son and his son's friend. His son came up with the idea for them to sleep in the same bed and "cuddle" because he googled it releases oxytocin and can help him sleep. He swore it's not a gay thing Had that been my son I wouldn't have allowed to do that. If I had kids I don't care if they're gay but they aren't going to be sleeping in the same bed as a potential sexual partner. Instead my boyfriend said "Yeah I'm not gonna unpack all of that. You guys can be weird." Then left the room. His son yelled it's not a gay thing. Would I be overstepping to share my opinion? I don't have kids but I wouldn't just allow that. At least ask more questions
