Condoms breaking like always any idea what I can do

Hi so everytime I have sex the condom breaks. I have no idea what to do. I’m actually scared rn. I went on a date w a guy and we hooked up he came back to my place is was great. I mean we had a really good time went to a sip and paint and got soo tipsy. We couldn’t keep our hands off each other. So it was definitely mutual. But trying to prevent unwanted pregnancy. So we used a condom…. But it broke. The last few times I used a condom it broke too. We ended up just taking it off and he finished inside. So not ideal. But I deffff was trying to avoid it. Is there something I’m doing wrong ? Cause idk he put the condom on. We did it for like 15 min and then boom it broke. Now I’ve put myself at risk for the exact opposite of what I wanted and also STDs. So umm yea any advice would be great. Feeling super anxious now. I really think sometimes like why me lol.
