How long did it take to accept pacifier?

How long did it take for your baby to accept a pacifier? Is it like, well they don’t like it so don’t try? Or are you supposed to keep trying everyday? My baby is 3 weeks old and I’d really like her to take a pacifier. My first born never accepted one. She always gaged but we waited over a month to even introduce one. We’re not waiting that long this time. How long did it take your little ones to accept a paci? (Mine are/were both EBF if that matters)
