I don’t get along with my in laws because I think they mistreat me but for my husbands sake I offered to host them for the holidays. We invited them to come on a Saturday 12/30 for the day. I told my husband to invite them weeks ago and he finally asked them a week ago. They never answered and finally today after my husband bugged them again they said they’d rather come the day after, actual New Year’s <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">Eve</a> so they have Saturday to get ready. I don’t know what there is to get ready since I’m hosting them, and if it’s something they need to prepare for themselves for midnight Sunday (they’d leave our house at 6pm) then they could just do that on Sunday if they come over Saturday. I don’t like having plans on Sunday and I just don’t get why they need to change the invitation after not responding for a week. Is it unreasonable to want to just do what works for me? Every single time I try to make a plan with them it’s the most complicated thing and they actually end up not even coming half of the time.
