Thoughts on this kind of parenting?
My hubby was feeding my daughter and she gets extremely upset if she’s tired and he takes the bottle out of her mouth to adjust the way he is holding her or something. He shhh’d really loud while holding her. But he shushed out of frustration to where he looked mad when he did it. I told him not to do it that loud because it could hurt her ears and because I don’t think it’s okay he gets mad like that. His response was it’s to get her attention so she can stop crying. He doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it. He has also yelled “at the top of his lungs” while holding her and I tell him that’s not okay and his response is “it’s not at the top of my lungs I can yell louder than that. And yeah maybe I shouldn’t yell that loud while holding her but certain situations require me to yell at different levels. However it’s always out of frustration and anger and it’s very loud he will even do this loud growl sound. He will say that I’m trying to make him look bad by saying these things however that’s exactly how he does it.i will admit I get mad at him for doing that but I don’t think he should get that way with our 5 year old and almost 3 month old. He says I’m illogical for thinking it’s wrong he does those things. Opinions please.
