For the people in a relationship 
How did it all start with you and your partner??
I have been so blindsided by the guys that come my way i really don’t know whats right or wrong and whats simply the bare minimum. I need some insight please share your experience

I meet my partner at work we worked different shifts i in the day he at night we would  cross paths in the parking lot at shift change we would smile and say hello to each other after a month had passed he had to pull a double shift . and we had lunch together we exchanged  phone numbers been together for 18 years.

Met mine on a dating app lol. I was looking to seriously date  ur having fun in the process and he, however, was not looking for anything serious (seems to be the majority these days) we hung out the first time and it went well, saw eachother the second time and the rest is history from there lol. He was always very attentive, interested in me and always initiated seeing me. He’s always there when I need him. We’ll have 2 years together in March and I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant with our second baby boy😬. We literally have our own Brady bunch going on here lol. Makes my mind spin when I think about how things turn out when you least expect it to. Never in a million years did I think we would be together let alone be having 2 babies together hahaha.  When a man knows what he wants you will not have to question if he likes/loves you. He will not play hot or cold and he will not give the opportunity for another man to take his place with you. A man will always treat you the way he feels about you. So actions speak louder then words. Pay attention to that. Best of luck to u.

I knew my husband in highschool . Thought he was cute and funny but wasn't really my type.  Nor was I his, we were just kind of friends.  He moved after he graduated but moved back the summer after I graduated. I was with my best friend going to her then boyfriend's. He happened to live across the street. We pulled up and my best friend was like remember him? Then I texted him. We talked a little throughout summer, hung out on Halloween. Then started hanging out a lot after that. Went on our first date in November and made it official in December. It's been 15 years that we've been together. Neither of us thought we'd end up married with baby #3 on the way. I think this relationship was different because we truly started as friends and built on that before romance.

I met my soon to be husband on a dating app (cringe😅) after a breakup with my ex of 4 years. I was looking for someone who found me attractive, funny and who was willing to have kids later down the road. My ex was never a family guy and we disagreed on whether we wanted children or not. It was a fundamental difference too big to ignore. I think my fiancé on the other hand was on there more for fun, but after our first date we knew it wouldn’t be just a hook-up or a single date. We met at the cafe off campus and ended talking for 4 hours! The staff even kept it open a little past closing for us (we were having so much fun, we forgot the time!). 
Then we started going on dates and swing dancing at the bar. I was still a bit emotional about my break up, but he said he understood and was patient with me. After 4 months, we started hanging out every day and spending most evenings together after school or work. Now we are engaged and have never been happier! He proposed last week, so this post may be a bit bias. 
However, when making our relationship official after three months, we both set down our expectations for the future and we agreed we were dating with marriage in mind. We discussed what we wanted from each other and laid out foundational similarities/agreements such a church to attend, if we wanted kids, what our finances looked like and how we were going to manage any upcoming debt. We both wanted something lasting and that is what we received❤️ Mind you, we would have broken up if we had any major differences such as views on abortion, religion, or other hot topics. Like I said before: we wanted something that lasted and would have let each other go if we had huge foundational differences. You just have to find someone who wants the same things and sees the world in a similar way.
