More Braxton hicks and back cramping with 2nd pregnancy?
Yesterday evening for 3+ hours I was having consistent contractions every 8 minutes. I tried changing positions, resting, drank tons of water, warm bath, everything and they would not go away. Obviously it wasn’t real labor because once I was able to go asleep and now that I’m awake they’re gone. This happened once before and I told me OB about at my last appointment and he said it’s normal to feel more of everything with second and more pregnancies and to wear my support band when I’m up and active. I wasn’t active hardly at all yesterday so I didn’t really wear my band much. It’s too uncomfortable to wear it sitting down. However he also thinks I might go early as I’ve had a few instances of high blood pressure too. I’m just nervous because these regular and long lasting periods of lower back cramping and contractions remind me of when I was having prodromal labor which I’ve been told I shouldn’t have until I’m actually term. I’m 32 weeks today. Does anyone else experience these? I was told earlier in pregnancy I had some uterine irritability so wondering if that could also be what it is since they don’t go away with resting or position changes
