Yeast infection

Any body else has gotten a vaginal bacteria infection? I am currently 12 weeks 3 days. Got a call from doctors office that she was going to prescribe medication but can’t take it until after 14 weeks. But I don’t have any discomfort. I am scared because I have to wait to take it and just hoping it doesn’t affect my pregnancy or get worse within the next two weeks. The nurse told me I can use Monistat but didn’t specify which one. Which one do you all recommend?!
