2nd CSection Stories?

Question

For anyone who has had 2 or more csections, how did your second experience compare to the first? I had an emergency csection 2 years ago and scheduled for my second on 12/26. Was your second easier than the first? Harder?

Second was easier! Planned and knew what to expect! 1st was awful because I labored along time prior. 
I go in for my third csection in two days! You’ve got this mama!

Ive had 2 emergency ones. 1st 24 hrs all natural labor first. 2nd was horrible, in a lot more ways. Did try for a vbac...but i went to water broke, no contractions to an hour later contractions starting at a pain level 10 (i think my body knew something was wrong)...got to the hospital and i was dilated...my labor pain was so much worse than any of my first labor. Shortly after lost babies hr best and my blood pressure trashed and i started bleeding. Rushed to OR. Crawled onto the table myself since the epidural at that time wasnt very effective. Was 100% convinced they opened me top to bottom and puked. But miraculously baby was great. I had a bad uterine window and the placenta came away too early. For 3 years i believed i couldnt hsve any more. We are now ttc #3. And im ok with a planned csection. (

My scheduled section was also a lot easier than my first emergency section. Found it bizarre how chilled out it was. There's also a lot less people in the room making it more relaxed. The only thing that was SLIGHTLY worse IMO was having the spinal...I was much more aware I was having it...but it wasnt a big deal :)

My first was an emergency so very hectic. My second was planned and very straightforward. Only took 10 mins to get the baby out and my scar didn’t get any bigger which was something I was worried about. I’m currently 8w with my 3rd child and I am hoping for another straightforward c-section next year.

My sister had 2 emerg and just had her 3rd scheduled. She said it was so so much easier in all ways scheduled
