I have a cyst the size of an orange and am pregnant, can someone reassure me?

I'm pregnant and during my first scan they found a cyst that's 7.3cm big. I can feel it constantly, like a dull background pain and because I'm also very constipated it sometimes hurts like hell. I spoke to a nurse about it after the scan, but she didn't have much time as they were all busy. She told me they can't do anything until I'm 12 weeks because any operation could cause a miscarriage. She also told me not to do anything strenuous because my cyst might twist. I'm really scared of this happening or of it rupturing. I have heard that both those things are extremely painful, that I could lose my ovary and that I would need emergency surgery (which, I assume, could also cause a miscarriage). I will have my next scan in just over 4 weeks. Obviously I'm hoping that by then it will be smaller and I can work out again. But is there anything I could do or avoid doing to keep everything in place and encourage it to shrink down on its own? I'm really scared about the whole situation...
