Birth control options?

Hey! I’ve never been on birth control before, I was looking into it and was interested in the arm implant. I’ve heard it’s great but the procedure scares me, is it painful? It looks painful lol

Also, how can I talk to my dad about being put on birth control? I’m his only daughter and it’s honestly kinda hard for me to talk w him about that kind of stuff
