HSG or not?

Just wanting advice really. My doctor suggested HSG since husbands semen analysis came back normal and we haven’t been preventating for like 4 years. But I was hesitant based off of things I read and was scared. But I took my first round of clomid and didn’t ovulate so I’ve been contemplating on calling to get that done before trying another round of clomid. Can anyone tell me your experiences with it?

I just got my HSG done today. I’ve read good reviews and not so great reviews. It is all base on what you would prefer but it gives me quite a bit of hope that if you get the HSG test done you have a bit of a higher possibility of getting pregnant afterwards. The procedure was mildly painful, but it just felt like cramps to me. I still do feel a bit of the cramps, but it’s not too bad. I honestly think it’s on how your body will take it. They will prescribe you meds to take before the procedure as well. It will be good to just know also if you have any blockage in your uterus or fallopian tubes.
