Finally got my bfp! Here's what we tried differently...
After 12mo TTC, hubby and I finally conceived baby #3!
Background: I'd been experiencing horrible gi issues since last year (sibo, candida, ibs, etc) so we did get tests done to just be sure everything was ok on the fertility side of things. After along 12 mo, we finally did it and here are a few things we did differently this cycle...
1. PRENATAL - I started taking Ritual prenatal. It's been the only prenatalthat doesnt hurt my stomach so that's been huge!
2. VITEX - my midwife suggested trying liquid vitex and after only 1 cycle of using it, BAM I was preggers! I noticed I ovulated sooner (day 16 vs. day 19) and was more naturally lubricated.
3. MALE PRENATAL - hubby began taking Frida Ferility pre comception pills. They contain coq10 which is supposed to be good for sperm quality.
4. MACADAMIA NUTS - I started eating 3-4 Mac. Nuts a day to help with my thyroid - my tsh was 3.1, so normal but higher than they'd like for fertility (2.5 or less).
5. KEFIR - took sips of kefir throughout the day to help with gut health.
6. LESS BOOZE/MORE WATER - pretty self explanatory...lol
I did use opks each cycle too which is helpful but I used them for Abt 10 cycles before getting a positive so I can't say they were new this cycle. They are informative though for when you tend to ovulate.
I hope this gives hope to someone that needs it. TTC is hard and can feel like an eternity. Just know there is always something new to try and ways to help. There is also a degree of letting go and surrendering to His timing, which may not always be YOUR timing. I'm a firm believer that God puts desires on your heart for a reason and will fulfill them...it just may not be in the way or timing that you envisioned. 💗
