How do you put 3 kids to bed!?

So, I’m due with my 3rd soon. Currently, bedtimes are pretty routine - my husband and I trade each kid every night and lay with them until they’re asleep. But I’m stressing about how this will work with 3 kids???? I know in the beginning it won’t matter since newborns sleep whenever and don’t have a schedule… but eventually we will get to this point.

How old is your oldest? It might be a good time to start teaching them to self soothe so that they can fall asleep without having someone lay with them.

That's an intense routine even with one kid. You're going to have to simplify and your kids are going to have to learn how to fall asleep on their own.

Can you not just… get them all bathed and pjed, read a few stories to the gaggle, tuck them in and say good night? Obviously the newborn is a different animal, but as long as theyre over a 18m, just tell them its bed time and shut the door 🤷🏽‍♀️

We do bed time story as a family then my husband prays and tucks my son in and I do the same with my daughter. They’re 4 and 2 yrs old. My daughter was able to do this once she was 18 months and weaned from nursing. The other night we switched and it was perfectly fine. I would work on getting kids to sleep on their own, not laying with them until they’re asleep. Stuffed animals helped ours. Depending on the newborns schedule we may be able to continue this or one parent will hold the baby while we put the middle to sleep. My son has medical needs so he takes longer (meds and such).

Is your bed big enough to lay one of your kids down with the baby and you in your bed? Get your older one to sleep then carry to their bed once asleep? I get my 3 year old to sleep and carry her to her bed every night. She will wake up like half the time but she gets herself back to sleep immediately when she’s laid back down in her bed 
Or maybe you can lay baby somewhere in the room with your kids while you get your others to sleep. I guess it also depends on how long it takes to get your kids to sleep
