Okay so second time mom here first I was induced so i dont know what is supposed to happen if you go into labor naturally.

I’m 39w 6d today. I feel cramping like I’m on my period comes and goes sometimes stronger sometimes I barely notice it all day long. My back HURTS like really bad back pain in my lower back comes and goes but it’s strong pain. I’ve already lost my mucus plug or at least most of it. My stomach keeps getting tight near my belly button like I’m flexing then goes away a few minutes later. Is this Braxton hicks are these contractions? I live an hour from the hospital how will I know if this is real before it to late to get to the hospital.
