So I had a bed design in my head for my kid..

I've had this design in my head for quite a while for a halfway up sleeper, and I can't find anything on the market that resembles what I want..

I couldn't sleep so I went to my drawing board..

So I started with scetches

then I used a ruler (integrated in the app ofcourse)

added measurements

creating a list of materials needed for this build

The 80 cm part is supposed to become the staircase and the desk space.

the desk space and dresser spaces will have modular boards so they will be adjustable in hight.

I am not down to that part of designing but I feel like I'm doing pretty well with this 😅

What I'm looking for is more like this, ikea didn't have anything remotely like this.

But it's still not quite what I want, it's a bit out of budget and I don't like the way the stairs work.

This one is 150cm so that could work but my child is a toddler now so I like easy access (which is why I went with top size of 1m40) and also for changing the bed that's more practical.

our kids have full bunks now and that's just too much for me tbh. I think the top height is 1m70?

I'd like for one of the cabinets underneath to have 2 clothing rack bars and the other 2 to have modular shelves and the desk to also be a modular shelve, so it would be in hight adjustable, shelves can be added or removed above or underneath the desk etc..

I just had this idea and now nothing I find matches my idea which kinda sucks haha 😅 but I wasn't born woth 2 left hands and if I can't find what I want I could build it I guess 😁
