On Thursday 12/28 I went in for ultrasound and was told there was no heartbeat. The baby was measuring about 8 weeks but I was about 10. Not really sure though because my cycles are long and ovulate late. They declared it a miscarriage. We are devastated. Especially since I had another one in august. We have a healthy 2 year old so I know I can have a healthy pregnancy. I have had no symptoms on this miscarriage which made this one come as a big shock. It looks like I must be having what they call a missed miscarriage. I was given 3 options. Wait for it to happen naturally, take medication, or d&c. I want to wait cause what if they were wrong about the heartbeat and my weeks. But also if it is a miscarriage then I want it to be over. I’m so torn and lost and heartbroken. Any advice? Has anyone had a missed miscarriage and waited? How long did you wait for it to happen naturally?
