My S/O doesn’t celebrate holidays but is upset when I want to go out and celebrate with friends. This time he said he would go out with us for the countdown which I looked forward to.

My friend/roommate and her sister invited me out multiple times this weekend. I turned down the first invite because my boyfriend wanted to go to the movies (something I’d been asking him to do for weeks) and he wanted strictly “ us “ time. So they rescheduled with me for the next day. While getting ready to leave the next day he gets upset and says how are you leaving without me& why are you dressed better than last night. Although we already spoke about going out later and I didn’t have time to get an outfit until today.

So now he doesn’t want to go out and he’s ignoring me. I told him I just rescheduled with them and I still plan on going out later but he won’t respond.
