Stomach tightening?

Hey yall, so I’ve noticed recently as I get further along I’m currently 27 weeks and 6 days and I noticed that every once in a while my lower stomach will start to tighten. Is this normal?? I hope it’s not a sign of early labor ☹️ there is no pain involved just tightening.

Totally normal. It’s Braxton hicks contractions and they will increase as your pregnancy continues. I’ve been having them here and there since 20 weeks!

Yes they’re Braxton hicks! My doctor said they’re normal unless they get uncomfy and are happening 10 minutes apart. 
Even then she said for me to lay down, drink water and see if they calm on their own. If they don’t, you should go in and get checked. ✔️

Can be normal but keep eye on them. Stay hydrated and don’t do too much! My body does this. I have an irritable uterus so it tightens a lot. With my second baby I ended up delivering at 34 weeks, went into preterm labor all on my own. I’m 28 weeks and body is gearing up all over again.
