I had a C Section 12/10/23 (3 weeks PP). My doc stitched me up internally and glued the last layer together. Me being a heavier set woman I check my incision in the mirror every other day. I swear in my creases and it’s a fear of mine the risk of infection so I try to keep a wound bandage on the incision or place towels in between to keep the area dry. I don’t use baby powder I don’t want to risk it getting in the incision not too sure if it would do any harm.

Today I looked in the mirror and realized the edge of my incision had yellow discharge/ pus. I cleaned the area with hydrogen peroxide because I couldn’t find alcohol and made sure the area was dry. Has anyone else had this problem? The rest of the incision is fine it’s just about 3/4 of an inch of the corner of the incision. It’s not oozing or swollen so I don’t think it’s emergent but I’m not sure? Definitely open to any kind of advice.
