Is it Nutrious for him ?

So my baby is 5 months old and i had a bag of freezed milk(colostrum) actually ...

And it was just this one lansinoh bag lol . I am not the type that produces alot of milk so its like a treasure for me 😂

Long story short my baby refused it and cried tonssss... maybe because of the taste or the bottle im not sure.

So my 4 years old toddler is sick, and i added it to his milk.. he drinks from the bottle to sleep and im hoping it would be good for him or did it go to waste?

I know some will say make a milk bath..etc but as i said im not the type that produces much and i felt it would gonin vain inthe bath lol.

Perfectly fine and healthy for your toddler. But your toddler needs to be off a bottle at age 4. That is bad for the teeth along with giving milk at bedtime to sleep.

Whenever your baby is sick taking any drink to bed can congest them more especially causing ear infection and headaches from sinus congestion. I’m not judging you I know this is a hard thing to break to your 4 year old but start explaining it to them during the day so that it won’t be a shock and decrease the amount in the bottle day by day until it’s nothing or just water. Then remove the bottle all together. Praise your kiddo for being a big kid and all of that. Cold turkey is going to just make you and your kid miserable and no one is going to sleep and it’s going to be an awful mess. Breast milk is safe for the older child as well. You’re doing great, it’s hard to be a mom.

Is it safe? Yes. But I highly doubt it will have much "nutritional value" for your 4 year old. Breast milk changes as the baby ages to fit their needs as they grow. A newborn has different nutritional needs than your 4 year old. Also, please stop giving him a bottle. It's really not good for his teeth.

Giving it to your sick 4 year old is great but i would have to agree with most moms on here about a bottle before bed. Not so much about having a drink at bed time but more or less the bottle messing with the development of his teeth and jaw. I have a 6 year old who is a thumb sucker and I wish it was a simple as taking a bottle or a paci away. She had to have dental surgery with teeth removed due to cavities and other teeth coming through without baby teeth falling out, caps on her teeth, it was 8 in total that needed work. If he/she hasn’t been to the dentist yet I would encourage you to take them to double check on those things. I wish you the best

Yes it’s good for him. BUT No bottle for a toddler mama. His teeth will all rot, and trust me it’s not pretty. Make sure you brush his teeth before bed and nothing else touches them overnight other than water. You can wean with water in a bottle, then water in a sippy cup.

It’s fine for your 4yr old. I honestly wouldn’t freeze colostrum in the future. Newborns need that nutrient dense liquid gold it doesn’t do any good sitting in the freezer just nurse or feed it freshly pumped. 
There were some comments about the bottle and I agree he needs to stop the bottle before bed. However cold turkey not the way. Talk to him about, prepare him for the change. Maybe take him out let him pick a special cup with a straw to replace the bottle and make sure to brush teeth after milk. If he is falling asleep with the bottle he is likely using it for comfort you might want to consider some other ways to help soothe him. He will likely still be upset but it’s important to recognize what a big change it is and support him through the transition.
