6 week postpartum bleeding??

I am 6 weeks postpartum today and this morning I woke up bleeding. Soaked through my underwear and pants and then again later on the TP when I went to the bathroom. There was a blood clot or two that came out. I stopped all bleeding a week ago and now suddenly this. My six week postpartum appointment is one week from today. So I’ll ask my midwife at my appointment, but I was just wondering if this is normal. I’m wondering if this is my period back already? Can you get your period six weeks postpartum? I’m breast-feeding on demand my Newborn and my toddler twice a day. Here is TMI, but my husband did put his finger in my bum a few days ago while I was blowing him to help him orgasm. Could this have cause bleeding from my vagina? It almost feels like a period flow but I don’t know.
