Not sure I want to keep this pregnancy. Has anyone had a medical/surgical abortion?

I’m currently 7 weeks and 1 day and have thought a lot about if I am ready for this pregnancy. I don’t need judgement just people experience with medical or surgical abortions please and thank you.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, no matter the reasoning it’s never easy. I’ve had one surgical & one medical termination. The surgical procedure was a smoother experience. It was painless (and I’m a wimp). at planned parenthood they did IV sedation, you’re not asleep, just very relaxed. It took less than 10 minutes. The bleeding after was like a regular period that lasted a little longer. The pills on the other hand were a bit more intense imo. Being in the comfort of your home is nice, but it’s definitely an all day ordeal. The misoprostol pills made me nauseous and I couldn’t keep anything down, there was a lot of cramping and heavier bleeding. But I just stayed in bed all day, or took a long shower when I wasn’t feeling well and was fine. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer best I can and good luck to you, whatever you decide 💗
