Diaper pails that ACTUALLY keep the smell?

I had multiple ubbi pails before and changed them constantly but they REEKED. Has anyone used a diaper pail that kept the smell in?

I gave up on diaper pails & just use a trash can with a locking lid & scented trash bags. When I open it I spray febreeze & take it out frequently.

I had this, it worked ok. As my kids got older we would just take the diapers outside to garbage.

I have a diaper genie and you can't even tell that it's been neglected. It sits by my front door and I'm always going in/out of my apartment. Can't smell anything even if you're sitting right next to it. I know a lot of people say they're unnecessary, but I'd like to see THEM try to survive a healthy toddler's diet because those pull-up changes are NOT for the faint-hearted.

We use scented doggie bags for her poopie ones and a regular garbage can with a lid for the rest 😂
