Bananas while pregnant?

What have you heard / has your doctor said about eating bananas while pregnant? Are they a safe to eat while you’re pregnant? I’ve seen a lot of mixed reports online about whether or not you should eat them while pregnant.

I’ve never heard anything about bananas. I think the only thing to watch would be sugar content. Try to eat them when they immediately turn ripe. Over ripe will be a lot of sugar.
